Candidate for Illinois State Senate, 2006 (Archive)

During my 14 years in elected office, I have worked to include my neighbors in the process of government in Knox County and the City of Galesburg, where I live. This year, I seek to cast my net more widely, throughout the 37th District of Illinois in my bid for a seat in the State Senate. My first priority will remain the same as it always has been: to encourage the participation of every individual, to the fullest extent possible.

I am prepared to listen to what you have to say, and have the experience necessary to represent you when the Illinois Senate convenes in Springfield next year. In the coming months I will be working hard throughout the 37th District of Illinois to bring out the vote, and I look forward to your help.
